Stylized Shoot: Emily Herzig Floral Studio – Private Residence, Lyman, New Hampshire

My extremely talented friend, Emily Herzig, of EH Floral & Design asked me to take some photos of a recent display she had created for a wedding show….she re-stylized the setup at a private residence & the setting could not possibly have been any more perfect! The light was crazy good. The background a clean slate….I was in photographer’s heaven….especially since there was a loft that allowed me a birds-eye-view vantage point! Yes!

As you can see- I had a lot of fun hanging out in the loft looking down at the masterpiece!

These are some of my own personal favorites….it felt so good to be in my own element…I’m so insanely excited for my 2012 season and what it will bring!

The last few are of Emily….I love the quiet behind-the-scenes look….it was a perfect day.

Laura & Ben = fun & vibrant Quechee Club, Vermont

Laura & Ben were blessed with a perfect summer day for a perfect summer wedding in the adorable village of Quechee, Vermont {where Ben hails from}.  Not sure if you remember their Boston e-session- but you can take a peek over HERE. This shot makes me so incredibly happy- the puffy blue clouds, super duper green grass, and of course, Laura & Ben looking fabulous. {it was totally worth completely laying on the ground and contorting my body in the oddest angle!}

Ceremony & Reception were both held at the lovely Quechee Club, Quechee, Vermont.

Laura’s Dress- Alma Novia from Madeline’s Daughter.

Love this quiet shot of Laura’s dad watching as she puts on her earrings.

The merry-go-round….we had to do this & I’m so glad the time-line allowed for some creative play!

Using the Simon Pearce building in Quechee Village…..classic.

His suit: Tommy Hilfiger.  Flowers by Lyndsey Loring Design.

Cake: Jacques. Yum.

Custom Printing: Talk, Paper, Scissors- for the invites. But Laura was DIY  & made these adorable fan/programs herself….loved them & obviously had to incorporate into a fun little ring shot!

The fireworks. Crazy, insane, over the top fireworks….quite possibly the best show I’ve seen in over a decade {we’re talking competing with the Mount Washington Hotel’s annual 4th display, folks}…..Atlas Fireworks rocked the Quechee Club!

I also need to take a quick moment to give a shout out to Jeff Brouillet- Jeff Brouillet Films- he & his side-kick, Amanda, were incredible to work with…I can’t wait to see their teaser film from the day {I’ll post it here when I have the link}.

And the icing on the cake- we just found out that this wedding is going to be featured in Gala Weddings Magazine….look for the issue to hit the stores in mid-December <3 I am so excited & honored! Wheee!
