michele + wade = married {stone mountain center for the arts}

My sister’s best friend, Michele, married her sweetheart,Wade. last Fall at the Stone Mountain Arts Center. My sister couldn’t attend the wedding – she was in India travelling for work- but my mom &  I did our best to fill her shoes…..Michele & Wade’s exuberant personalities were evident in every aspect of the wedding. Even a few rain drops couldn’t bring this couple down!

The vintage “M” ring belonged to Michele’s grandmother- and I’ve been coveting one ever since!

I’ve known Michele for over a decade- and never, ever, have I seen her as beautiful and radiant as she was on her wedding day.

The brand-new Mrs.Belanger sang a sweet song with her brother to her lucky husband. She rocked the Stone Mountain Arts Center!

Happy Fall: Chinese Lanterns

Fall is my most favorite time of year: Pumpkin Spice Coffee, cashmere sweaters, all my favorite colors {red, orange, yellow, purple}, leaves, apple cider, tourists, starting up the fire, chicken pot pie, brisk mornings, making applesauce….the list goes on….

Chinese Lanterns have always intrigued me- they are so delicate and vibrant…and just cool to look at. I was happy to have found these beauties the other day at Windy Ridge Orchard when we took the boys to get some  cider donuts & pick out pumpkins & mums.

And for the inquiring minds: these were all shot with natural light with 50 mm 1.2 :0)
