Stylized Shoot: Emily Herzig Floral Studio – Private Residence, Lyman, New Hampshire

My extremely talented friend, Emily Herzig, of EH Floral & Design asked me to take some photos of a recent display she had created for a wedding show….she re-stylized the setup at a private residence & the setting could not possibly have been any more perfect! The light was crazy good. The background a clean slate….I was in photographer’s heaven….especially since there was a loft that allowed me a birds-eye-view vantage point! Yes!

As you can see- I had a lot of fun hanging out in the loft looking down at the masterpiece!

These are some of my own personal favorites….it felt so good to be in my own element…I’m so insanely excited for my 2012 season and what it will bring!

The last few are of Emily….I love the quiet behind-the-scenes look….it was a perfect day.

Prudente Photography: Anya & Jimmy Promo & Love Shoot

Yesterday, it was bitterly cold at our state capitol, Concord…but I had a blast doing some love/promo/anniversary shots for the adorable Jimmy & Anya of Prudente Photography out of Boston. These two know dramatic lighting like nobody’s business….it was awesome to talk shop, grab some fun shots, and swap lenses!

You might remember these two- I did their engagement session back in 2009 & it was so much fun…we borrowed an old red and white pickup truck….but my silly blog won’t let me link back to those images. Sigh.

Love this door on this church in downtown Concord- took me a few tries to remember where it was, but we got there!

I can’t decide if I like Anya better in color or b&w…..so hard to choose!

We were all SO COLD in this alley way….you have no idea…”think warm happy thoughts!”

Two Potters in Love: Becca & Nathan Webb

Late last Fall I did a promotional/love shoot for my friend Becca & her husband. Becca is an ah-mah-zing potter & Nathan is too. Now that they are married, they have joined forced as Two Potters & recently relocated from New Hampshire to Vermont. They had an open house last Fall- so I went and grabbed these shots for them.

They overhauled an old building on their property and created the sweetest little shop!

I’ve shot Becca a few times in the past  & what I love about shooting her is that when she smiles she smiles with her eyes. She hates getting her photo done….silly girl!

I LOVE Becca’s pottery…and now I love Nathan’s too- we have lots of it here in our home….and one of Becca’s chunky yellow mugs is my all time fave. When we got married I hired Becca to make each of my bridesmaids a mug with their intial & colors that fit their personalities.
